The Director came to us as a nurse within the NDIS framework, and as my wife’s carer – mid 2025.My wife is blind and has other medical problems. Right from the start, he was able to safely change my wife’s stoma our way – and the right way.He showed us concern, care in his methodical way and always listened to us at all times.ALPHA went above and beyond its role to assist my wife, even though she had run out of funding. ALPHA advocated strongly with our new Support Co-Ordinator.Without being paid, they worked jointly to help my wife.ALPHA did research into my wife’s medical conditions alongside our Support Coordinator, ALPHA called and wrote to the NDIS, spoke to associates and friends on the mainland for considerable advice.ALPHA was led by extraordinary knowledge, networks and advanced experience. ALPHA is a new asset to northwest Tasmania, led by a Director who accepted the very best from all involved to help my wife. He oversaw and was always involved to ensure best practice.
